My dog walking service is weather permitting.

Heat

I will not walk dogs when temperatures rise above 24 degrees celcius.

Anything above 20C can cause dogs to become dehydrated and hot very quickly. The hotter the temperature, the higher the risk, so keeping your dogs safe is important to me. If the temperature increases, even by 1 degree, the risks increase too.

Cold

Any temperature below -6C increases risk of hypothermia and frostbite. I will ask owners, if they have dog coats, to make these available for low temperatures, especially below 0 degrees but above -6C.

The length of the walks in these conditions is by my own judgement and what I believe your dogs can cope with.
